Blue Environment was established by its Managing Director, Christine Wardle, to build on over 30 years professional experience across the environment, eco-tourism, water, finance and accounting sectors. She has a range of environmental and business qualifications including an honours degree in Environmental Engineering (RMIT) and a Masters in Environmental Management (UNSW). Christine has worked for a number of multinational environmental engineering consultancies, major banks, brokers and commercial organisations.
Christine’s corporate governance expertise is recognised through current and previous board positions on organisations as diverse as City West Water Ltd and Phillip Island Nature Park.
Director
Dr Joe Pickin is an environmental specialist with a 15-year track record as a consultant, researcher, policy analyst, strategist and auditor. He is well-known in the area of waste, resource efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions, and has a strong knowledge of environmental decision tools, policy instruments and strategic planning. Joe has a flair for modelling, high level writing ability and excellent presentation and communication skills. He has a PhD from the University of Melbourne on the environmental economics of waste and a rounded experience including work in the community, government and academic sectors.
Director
Bill Grant has worked in the environmental and waste management field for over 18 years. With a background in agricultural and environmental science, Bill has multi-disciplinary and applied knowledge of ecology, economics, business management, sociology, town planning, communications, conflict resolution and systems thinking. Bill has extensive experience on projects ranging from waste audits and small business waste management plans through to detailed strategic analysis and planning, greenhouse risk assessment and environmental management systems development. |
