Christine Wardle established Blue Environment to build on over 30 years professional experience across the environment, eco-tourism, water, finance and accounting sectors. She has a range of environmental and business qualifications including an honours degree in Environmental Engineering (RMIT) and a Masters in Environmental Management (UNSW). Christine has worked for a number of multinational engineering consultancies, major banks, brokers and commercial organisations in Australia and the UK. Christine is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has corporate governance experience on the boards of organisations such as City West Water Ltd and Phillip Island Nature Park.

Christine is the past Victorian President of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia and was the winner of the national 2014 WMRR John Guice Award, recognising her significant contribution to the waste management and resource recovery sector in Australia.
