Providing a safe and effective system for managing asbestos waste is a major challenge in all states and territories. To help with this challenge, the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency has commissioned Blue Environment to explore best practice in asbestos transport, storage and disposal in Australia and globally. The first output will be a discussion paper, which is due for release in March 2017.
