On behalf of the Australian Government, Blue Environment prepared projections of emissions from the waste sector to 2035. The projections covered emissions from landfills, wastewater treatment, composting and incineration. The work will be used in assessments of Australia’s likely performance against its emissions targets under the Paris Agreement.
