Textile recycling

Darebin City Council has contracted Blue Environment to investigate options for recycling old clothes from households. Currently, clothes that can’t be reused are nearly all landfilled. This project will investigate environmentally preferable alternatives. It involves research, discussion with local industries and charities, an assessment of options and development of recommendations.
