Women in the Environment
Women in the Environment was established in 2002 to foster communication between women professionals across a range of disciplines within the environment industry.
The group encourages women working in the environment industry to further their understanding of issues of interest to the industry, broaden their contacts with environmental professionals and provide a network for communication among their peers.
There are over 300 members of the group, representing a broad cross-section of interests and organisations in the environment. The group is open to anyone with a professional interest in the environmental area.
The group meets quarterly, usually at venues across Melbourne. The functions have included seminars, site visits, breakfast meetings, cocktail parties sponsored by individual companies or organisations, and dinners with a range of guest speakers.
Please check our LinkedIn page or contact us for more information on future events.
Please note the group is in hiatus during the COVID pandemic lockdowns.
